A barber who shaved a 10-year-old boy’s head to ‘teach him a lesson’ has been jailed for eight months.
Abdulrahim Omar, 21, claimed the boy had been playing with a razor and the ‘number one’ haircut he gave him was punishment.
The youngster, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was made to sweep up his cut hair while others watched and laughed, Luton Crown Court heard yesterday.
He felt so humiliated he dialled 999 for the police, the court was told.
