I’m looking for a second wife for my husband, Sexually, I am depriving him of a lot of things- Woman.
Kemisola Mustapha, a trader and mother of three who is currently battling cancer, has turned to social media with an unusual appeal: she is seeking a second wife for her husband, explaining that her illness has left him sexually unfulfilled.
According to The Punch, in a video shared on her TikTok page and later seen by Saturday PUNCH, Kemisola revealed that her cancer diagnosis in 2024 marked the beginning of serious health challenges that have significantly affected her marriage and family life. She said the demands of the illness have limited her ability to fully perform her marital duties, particularly in meeting her husband’s sexual needs.
According to Kemisola , her decision to look for a co-wife is driven by a desire to preserve harmony in her home and ensure her husband’s happiness during her ongoing treatment. She said she believes another wife would help fill the gap created by her condition and restore balance to the family.

She disclosed that she has been searching for a suitable co-wife for more than nine months, emphasising that the woman must be of good character—loving, faithful and peaceful.
Kemisola also praised her husband for his unwavering support, noting that he has gone as far as selling nearly all his properties to finance her cancer treatment, a sacrifice she described as proof of his commitment to the family.
She said, “This request is from the bottom of my heart. My mind is totally open to it. My husband is a very good man. He has really tried for me, and I do not want to be a selfish soul. I’m looking for a second wife for my husband. He has tried for me physically, financially, and emotionally.
“Sexually, I’m depriving my husband of a lot of things. There are a lot of things I cannot do again because of my health. I want my husband to be happy again. Right now, I need a co-wife for my husband. I want someone who is understanding, faithful, and someone who will love my husband the way I love him. I love my husband so much, and he loves me dearly. I want someone who will love my children and me,” she added.
She further disclosed that she had once put the search on hold after receiving a cautionary warning from another woman, who suggested that bringing a new wife into the home while she was ill could expose her to danger. According toKemisola, the woman warned that some people might view her condition as an opportunity, believing she would not survive, and could even harbour harmful intentions.
Taking the advice seriously at the time, Kemisola said she abandoned the idea, especially as the financial strain of her treatment had become overwhelming. However, she explained that she has since reconsidered and resumed the search, stressing that her decision is not influenced by fear or a sense of impending death.
She made it clear that she remains hopeful and determined to live, insisting that the move is motivated solely by her desire to see her family remain happy and united. In her words, she wants to restore the sense of peace and joy that once defined her home, for the sake of her husband and children.
Kemisola also revealed that her husband was initially opposed to the idea of taking another wife. However, after much discussion and repeated appeals, he eventually agreed. She said their decision was formalised through a legal agreement to ensure clarity and mutual understanding.
Outlining her expectations, the mother of three said she is seeking a woman of strong moral character. According to her, the prospective wife must be loving, capable of caring for her husband with the same devotion she has shown, and able to maintain harmony in the home. She added that a good family background and a reasonable level of education are also essential qualities she is looking for.
