See the Face of Police Inspector Caught While Stealing The Sum Of N40,000 From A Taxi
A police officer attached to Okota axis of Oshodi Local government area of Lagos state was caught by people while he was stealing money from a packed taxi along the road while on patrol.
The state police public relation officer Bala Elkana he stated in a press release that the suspect identified as Tajula Martin was attached to the Ago police station and was caught by angry youth who were around the packed taxi car along Oshodi Apapa axis of the state.

This incident according to the police PRO was a total disgrace to the entire police force.
He added that the angry youth who caught him attacked him and held him hostage but he was rescued by a team of police who were on patrol along that axis and he was taken back to the police headquarters where investigations were done.

After series of interrogations, the suspect who is a police inspector told the police that he followed the taxi driver who violated the traffic laws. The driver was said to have run away and left his car along the road to avoid arrest.
He told the police he saw the money inside the car when he went inside the packed car trying to take back the car to the station, that was when the youth saw him inside counting the money so they attack him.
He pleaded guilty of the charged level against him.

The state police commissioner CP Hakeem on hearing the case ordered that the deputy commissioner in charged of the criminal investigation unit should take over the case and make a serious investigation on the case, meanwhile, he ordered that the suspect be kept in the police custody while investigations are been carried out on the case.
