Shehu Sani Replies Nigerians Attacking Okonji- Iweala For Not Posting Picture Of Herself And Tinubu.
Former Senator Shehu Sani, who represented the people of Kaduna Central Senatorial Zone, has taken the time to address Nigerians who have been attacking and criticizing Dr. Mrs. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Nigeria’s former finance minister and the Director General of the World Trade Organisation (WTO).
Their criticism stems from her failure to post a picture of herself with President Tinubu.
In his statement, Sani emphasized that Okonjo-Iweala is a source of pride for the entire world, and Nigerians should not be the ones to tarnish her reputation over something as trivial as a photograph.
He urged his fellow citizens to focus instead on the positive contributions she can make to Nigeria and the African continent in the current period of opportunity.
The former lawmaker shared his thoughts on Twitter, reminding everyone that Okonjo-Iweala came, fulfilled her duties of voting as a citizen of Nigeria, and departed. He asserted that dragging her into unrelated conflicts is unfair.
