The Brotherhood Of The Cross And Star is a religious organisation founded by their spiritual leader, Olumba Olumba Obu, in the year 1956, in Calabar, Cross River State. So many people have been asking whether the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star is a church.

They set do not pray in the name of Jesus, rather they either make a sign of o.o.o because they belief that leader Olumba Olumba Obu is their almighty and Rowland whom they call his holiness is their Jesus.

In 2000, Olumba Obu crowned his son formally known as Rowland to be the spiritual head of the sect. Rowland’s name was changed to His Holiness Olumba Olumba Obu.
