In Abuja, angry voters be@t a corps member to de@th on Saturday for using his thumbprint to cast multiple ballots for Bola Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for president, in the ongoing general elections.

On Saturday, the corps member who was acting as the Independent National Electoral Commission’s (INEC) ad hoc staff member was apprehended.

He allegedly locked himself in a classroom at the LEA Primary School in Lugbe, Airport Road, Abuja, where he registered to vote for the APC by placing his thumbprint on numerous ballots.

It was reported that although a sizable number of voters showed up to cast their ballots for their preferred candidates, they were informed that the voting couldn’t begin because there weren’t any ballots available.

A corps member was found to have locked himself in a classroom and was embossing his thumbprint on every APC ballot while people were still awaiting the ballot papers for hours.

According to a video of the incident that SaharaReporters saw, an enraged mob attacked the corps member and beat him. The beating ultimately caused his death, it was discovered.

Some people are working extremely hard to sabotage the election on Saturday, February 25, even as the President Buhari- led administration looks into every avenue.
