Could these two meet in 2018?
Anthony Joshua has revealed his team are on the verge of making Deontay Wilder an offer to fight him for the undisputed heavyweight championship of the world.

Joshua, the WBA, IBF and WBO champion has publicly declared his intention to complete the puzzle by collecting Wilder’s WBC belt in the near future and is now actively working to make the fight happen.
“Wilder has my 100 per cent attention. I want that fight, no doubt about it, my objective was to accumulate every single one of the belts,” AJ told Sky Sports.
“We’re about to make another offer to Wilder’s team – a very good offer that should create a lot of interest.
“Hopefully that will stop a lot of his talking and whining, and he can step up to the plate.”
The 28-year-old went on to reveal that his offer to Wilder will effectively be a two-fight deal.
“If Wilder offered me the deal I’m going to offer him – to come and fight for four belts, with a great rematch clause and a great up-front clause – I would grab that with both hands.”
The fact Joshua says Wilder will have a rematch clause indicates a two-fight agreement as he will undoubtedly have one himself.
A similar deal was made for his bout with Wladimir Klitschko. A rematch was in the process of being negotiated for Joshua-Klitschko 2 last year, before the Ukrainian shocked everybody by announcing his retirement.
Regarding the venue of the fight, the reigning unified champion explained: “I think the first one has to be in the UK. I want to be able to call that shot because I’ve worked extremely hard to put myself in a power position when it comes to negotiations.”
“I’m happy being based here and I think a lot of my supporters are happy with me fighting here as well.
