Governorship Elections 2023: LP’s Olumide Attacked By Political Thugs in Lagos, See Photos of Him B!eeding.
Olumide Oworu is the Labour Party’s (LP) candidate running for the Surulere Constituency 1 seat in the Lagos State House of Assembly.
Desmond Eliot, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, is the incumbent he wants to unseat.
In the Surulere district of Lagos State, the LP candidate came under attack during his campaign.
Unknown persons who were alleged to be political thugs attacked his team on March 16 while the Labour Party was out on a campaign walk. The 28- year- old actor turned politician narrowly avoided injury.
Oworu via his verified Twitter account commented on the incident and said some team members were hurt in the attack.
He gave his supporters one last reassurance that he would not back down. Instead, they’ll be more dedicated to seeing the campaign through.
Olumide Oworuwas tweeted: ” My team and I were attacked on Thursday as we attempted to campaign at Iponri, Surulere.

“A member of my team was injured but we are thankful the incident didn’t escalate past the level it was. The case has been reported at the Iponri police station.”
