His return was quickly announced by WWE ahead of Mondays editions of Monday night RAW through the official channels like social media and website.
The Nigerian continued from where he left by facing the “Hurts Business” which is the trio of MVP, Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin.

Apollo Crews came with the old WWE United States Championship while MVP has paraded himself enough with the latest design of the gold in the absence of the Benue State muscular figure.
The 32-year-old was able to survive the distractions provided by Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin in MVP’s corner to pin the veteran for the victory.
He was handed the old belt and the latest one while he was celebrating his unprecedented victory over the “Hurts Business”.
Apollo Crews however promise that he will keep the old belt at home for his two children Kai and Sade to play with as it has been officially announced that the WWE United States Championship will be on the line again in the next Pay-Per-View event tagged “SummerSlam”.
Apollo Crews has further extended his tenure as WWE United States Champion since beating Andrade Cien Almas to the crown in May 2020.
