“Oga, U No Consider This Beautiful Family?” – Social Media User Calls Out Odogwu Asaba Over Favour’s Death.

Content creator remains in police custody as investigation into Favour Agbro’s death continues.

A social media user has publicly called out Ifeanyi Ogbonna, the popular Asaba-based content creator known as Odogwu Asaba, following the tragic death of 20-year-old Favour Agbro, who died by suicide after accusing him of sexual assault.

The post, which has been making rounds online, calls on Odogwu to consider the consequences of his actions on his family. It features photos of the content creator with his wife and children.

The social media user wrote: “Oga, u no consider this beautiful family before endangering your life..to this kind of mess. How would his wife face the shame and betrayal. His kids would as well ask ‘where is daddy’ ? Daddy dey prison o. Polygamous in nature don finally put u into trouble. U ain’t coming out soon oga. Dear men.. wrong is wrong even when everybody is doing it. Stay faithful to your life partners. May God bless every faithful man out there.”

The post has sparked conversations online about the impact of the scandal on Ogbonna’s family, with many echoing the sentiment that his wife and children now face public shame and the absence of a father.

What Happened to Favour Agbro

Favour Agbro, a 20-year-old nursing student from Warri, Delta State, reportedly travelled to Asaba on June 1, 2026, after Ogbonna invited her under the pretence of mentoring her in content creation and helping her monetise her social media accounts.

Late Favour

According to police reports, upon her arrival in Asaba, the suspect allegedly took her to a hotel, where he r@ped her and subjected her to physical violence. Favour later returned home visibly distressed and disclosed the incident to her parents .

Before her death, Favour recorded a video in which she recounted her experience and named Odogwu Asaba as the cause of her distress. She subsequently ingested a toxic substance and died nine days later despite efforts to save her life.

 Social Media User Calls Out Odogwu Asaba

According to information gathered by Toktok9ja Media, Her father, Mr Ese Agbro, told reporters that the family moved her through five hospitals in a desperate attempt to save her. He described the loss as devastating: “The happiness in our home has disappeared. Favour was dear to everyone in the house and the neighborhood. She was a star child” .

The Delta State Police Command confirmed Ogbonna’s arrest on July 15, 2026. Police Public Relations Officer SP Bright Edafe stated that the Commissioner of Police, CP Yemi Oyeniyi, directed the Area Command in Effurun to carry out an immediate investigation.

 Social Media User Calls Out Odogwu Asaba

Edafe said: “The suspect invited the victim to Asaba under the guise of teaching her content creation, lured her to his hotel room, and allegedly tortured and raped her. The victim, who could not bear the agony, recorded a video of her meeting and then took insecticide; she died while seeking treatment” .

A video has surfaced online showing a handcuffed Ogbonna apologising to Favour’s family, including her twin sister. In the clip, he reportedly said: “This is a terrible mistake. I’m ready to give up everything. Please forgive me.”

The police have assured the public that the case will be thoroughly investigated and that no aspect of the allegations will be overlooked . Ogbonna remains in police custody while investigations continue.
