Woman Who Gave Birth In Kidnappers Den Narrates What They Did to Her and The Baby.
Insecurity and kidnapping are some of the biggest challenges in Nigeria especially in the northern part of the country. It is obvious that Nigerians no longer feel safe in their country.
A woman named Suwaiba Nasaru narrated her ordeal in the hands of kidnappers to newsmen. It occurred on the day after Christmas, bandits raided the village of Biya Ki Kwana of Batsari local government area, Katsina State, and injured 2 young men and abducted ten women.
One of those kidnapped was heavily pregnant Suwaiba Nasaru alongside her 2 years old daughter. According to her story, her husband had traveled to the southern part of Nigeria to work when gunmen raided her village and took her and other women away.
She alongside the other women trekked a substantial distance through the night before riding on motorcycles to the kidnappers’ den.
Suwaiba labour started during this period under the kidnapper’s den and she was in serious pain. One of the abducted woman served as a nurse and delivered her of a baby daughter while the abductors watched.

The woman went on to narrate that the kidnappers brought her hot water to shower and clean the baby. They also brought razor blade that was used to cut the umbilical cord.
As the situation became intense, some of them consulted their leader and appeal for her to be discharge, and eventually, she was discharged and asked to go home.
This is just one of such cases that is reported on a daily basis and Nigerians are worried that the Government are doing too little to curb the high rate of kidnapping across the country.
