One of Nigeria’s most decorated anti-drug activist and President ‘Vanguard against drugs abuse (VGADA)’ Dr. Hope Abraham Omeiza said farewell to bachelorhood, as he ties knots with his beautiful bride in holy matrimony.
Toktok9ja gathered that the marriage ceremony occurred on 9th February at Peter Akintola Foundation, Ogun State.
Choosing February for the wedding ceremony is unconnected to its significance, “lover’s month.”
Dr. Hope met his lovely wife at a Christian youth conference organized yearly. According to him, marriage to her was a match made in heaven.
“For the few days we have been married, i keep thanking God for giving me such an amazing woman as wife. She is just everything packed in one.”
Awesome isn’t that? Dr. Hope also spoke on his vision for VGADA, a renowned NGO known for its incessant fight against drug abuse in Nigeria.
“Like the Biblical saying ‘one shall chase a thousand, two shall chase 10 thousand.’ I plan on developing and executing new ideas together with my wife.”
“The sky is just a starting point, VGADA is poised to reach national and international levels; marriage will only contribute in taking us there faster.”
“We now have branches in several states across the 6 geopolitical zones of Nigeria. These branches are coordinated by well-meaning Nigerians who were genuinely concerned about the prevalence of drug abuse in their states and reached out to collaborate with us and contribute their own quota in this fight against drug abuse. We expect that by the end of this year, VGADA will be fully on ground in all the states of the Federation.”
