Another Set of Female Travelers Kidnapped and Humiliated on Camera By Bandits in Zamfara.

A disturbing new video has emerged online showing female travelers being humiliated and flogged by kidnappers in Zamfara State.

According to information gathered by Toktok9ja Media, the victims were traveling back to Gusau, the state capital, when they were intercepted near Tsafe. The exact number of women involved is not yet clear, but the video shows several of them on the ground while their captors take turns beating them.

The kidnappers recorded everything. The video has since spread across social media, leaving many Nigerians angry and afraid.

This is not the first time something like this has happened. A few months ago, two ladies were also kidnapped and victimized on live video. In that case, they were released after a ransom was paid. Many believe the kidnappers recorded and shared the footage purposely to pressure family members and the public into sending money faster.

It has now become a worrying pattern. The kidnappers humiliate their victims online. The videos draw attention. People panic. Ransom gets paid. Then the cycle repeats itself.

What makes this latest incident even more troubling is the location. Tsafe and the surrounding roads have become dangerous for travelers, especially women. Yet many people have no choice but to use those routes because they are major links between towns and cities in the northwest.

The Nigerian government has been criticized by many citizens for not doing enough. Some say the security forces are overstretched and cannot cover all the hot spots. Others believe the response has been too slow, allowing kidnappers to grow bolder with each new video.

One social media user wrote, “They are recording and sharing these videos freely. No one is tracking them. No one is stopping them. Meanwhile, innocent women are suffering.”

Another person commented, “First it was two ladies months ago. Now another set. What is being done?”

As of the time of filing this report, the police and military have not released any official statement regarding this latest incident. It is also unclear whether the women have been released or if ransom negotiations are ongoing.
