“I Made It to Nigeria”: Anna Shares Loved-Up Photos After Finally Meeting Her Nigerian Partner.
A British woman named Anna Gateley-Stan has set social media buzzing after announcing that she has safely arrived in Nigeria to be with the man she loves, a man simply known as Chris.
In a post that has since gone viral on Facebook, Anna shared how her journey took nearly a full week. But now that she is with Chris, she says everything feels right.
“After almost a week, I can finally share the news officially — I made it safely to Nigeria, and I am exactly where I am supposed to be,” she wrote.

She described how the two of them are now working together to settle into a new way of living. Anna noted that everything feels different — the weather, the meals, and even the internet speed.
“Different temperature, different food, different everything (yes, including the switch from 5G back to 4G),” she said.
Still, she made it clear that none of those changes bother her.
“But none of that matters. No regrets. Not one,” she added.

Anna thanked everyone who had been following their story and thinking about them. She ended her post with a warm message about their current state of mind.
“We are happy, we are safe, and these smiles say it all.”
Along with her words, she shared several pictures of herself and Chris. Some of the photos were casual and full of affection, while others looked like wedding images, suggesting that the couple may have already tied the knot.

The online reaction has been mostly positive. Many commenters wished the couple a long and joyful marriage. Others pointed out that Anna is not the first foreign woman to relocate to Nigeria for love. Over the years, stories of white women leaving their home countries to be with Nigerian men have continued to appear online, with many of the women saying Nigerian men are caring and devoted partners.
Anna’s story has connected with thousands of people because of how simply she put it: love isn’t about where you live or what speed your internet runs at. Sometimes, it’s just about being with the right person.

And going by the smiles in those photos, she believes she has found exactly that.
