Community members say the suspected kidnappers slept so heavily that they started snoring. No resistance. No struggle. The villagers simply walked up to them and took them in.
A video of the scene is now making rounds on social media. In the clip, several men can be seen lying on the ground in what looks like a very deep sleep. Some are snoring loudly. No one is tied up. No one is being held down. They are just… asleep.
People who have watched the video are reacting with a mix of surprise and praise. Many Nigerians are commending the community for going the traditional route. Some are even encouraging other villages to do the same, especially in areas where attacks have become too frequent.

Just recently, another community in Oyo State suffered a terrible attack. Suspected terrorists abducted over forty people, including teachers and students. That is the reality many rural communities are facing. Help does not always come fast enough. So some people are deciding to take matters into their own hands. And in this Ondo village, they believe their traditional method worked.
Now, let me be clear. Not everyone will believe that juju can stop armed attackers. Some will say there is another explanation. Maybe the men were drugged. Maybe they ate or drank something before arriving. Maybe the story has been exaggerated.
