20 Peace Icons Honoured at the Just Concluded African Peace Ambassadors Awards 2021

AFRICAN PEACE AMBASSADORS AWARDS (APAA) may have passed, but the moments still remain in the hearts of many especially those who were among the few selected Peace Icons honoured this year.

The event is lauded as the largest gathering of peace lovers across Africa, and it has distinguished itself by setting the records straight in honoring 20 deserving peace icons across the continent.

AFRICA PEACE AMBASSADOR AWARD (APAA) is an annual award gala night that recognizes individuals and organization who have distinguished themselves in peace-building and humanitarian services selflessly and projecting Africa’s image positively.

The spectacular event captures well-deserved persons ranging from politics, banking, social, sports, education, entertainment, entrepreneurship, engineering, marine, public service, the youth, etc.

This year’s maiden edition had in attendance peace crusaders from various countries in African. It also had in attendance representatives from Espam Formation University Cotonou who also used the opportunity to honoure the convener of the event Ambassador Chris Odey with a doctorate degree for his outstanding humanitarian service.

Among those who graced the occasion are; Her Excellency Dr Falmata Babagana Umara Zulum, (First Lady Borno State),  Hon. Farouk Lawan Sule Garo (Senior Special Assistance to the Executive Governor of Kano State), Hon. Adaku Owaoma Oseiza (Honourable Commissioner, Ministry of Small, Medium Enterprises, Abia State), HRH Dr. Halimat Adenike Tejuosho (Chancellor Espam Formation University Cotonou), Dr Drogas A.g Vasileios (University of Ioannina Greece), and many others.

The event took place at the Ladi Kwali Hall of Sheraton Hotels and Towers Abuja Nigeria on 12the December 2021.
