Again: Secondary School Student And His Gang Attack Teacher Over Refusal to do Assignment.
Teachers, especially in junior secondary schools are said to be strict with students especially teachers taking subjects like Maths, Intro-Tech, Biology, which are usually mean to students in order to make them study hard.
In most cases, if you fail their assignment or refuse to do an assignment, the consequences of that are likely to face corporal punishment or flogging. Whichever the case may be, the affected student will still face Hell!
Speaking of Hell from teachers to students, one particular news is currently trending in Ghana now. A junior secondary student, in a reverse manner, has shown his teacher Hell.
According to the story surrounding the news, the teacher, Mr. Moses Onyameasem, gave the student homework to do but the student refused to do it which made Mr. Moses to discipline the said student accordingly.
In a revenge manner, the boy allegedly organized some of his gang members and attacked the teacher. He was severely beaten to a point of ‘ Heaven’ s Gate’. Thank goodness, some of his colleagues were around at the time of the attack. They rescued him from the jaws of death depended by student and his gang members.
He sustained various degrees of injuries to his body, especially in the upper part. His face was disfigured from photos of him circulating on social media.
We know teachers could be mean sometimes. However, that does not give any students the right to take laws into their own hands like what they did to Mr. Moses.
The funny part of the story is that even the parents of the boy are tacitly in support of what he did. They allegedly went to the school to rain insults on all of the staff on duty after the incident.
My question now is: if the boy is allowed to do that to his teacher for whatever reason, is it not a sign of things to come for the parents too?
Lets have your thoughts.
