BLOOD EVERYWHERE!!! Seven Die, Two Injured In Fatal Crash Along Minna-Suleja Highway (Photos).
There was a fatal auto crash along Minna-Suleja highway in Niger state which claimed seven lives and others badly wounded.
Toktok9ja Media gathered that the accident involving a Mazda salon car and a gulf salon car with registration number KTU 506 BK occurred in the early hours of Thursday, July 22.

Five of the victims died at the spot while two others died on their way to the hospital. Two people who were critically injured have been evacuated to a private hospital in Lamatta, in Gurara local government area of the state.
According to an eye witness, the accident occurred between Kwakuti and Lambata when the two vehicles, both traveling in the opposite directions had a head-on collision.
Although the cause of the accident was not immediately known, eye witness, however, said it was not unconnected with overspeeding inside a heavy downpour in the morning.

According to one of the villagers who were at the scene of the accident to assist the men of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) evacuate both dead and the injured, the two vehicles were damaged beyond repairs.
Meanwhile, the bodies of those who died in the accident have been deposited at the Sabon Wuse General Hospital.

Residents of Jakusko town, the headquarters of Jakusko local government area of Yobe State are counting their losses after their homes were flooded due to the heavy downpour.

Yesterday’s heavy rainfall in the town also destroyed many houses, property as well as other valuables, sacking many families with some of them still counting their losses.
The Yobe Emergency Management Agency, (SEMA), who spoke to journalists following the flood incident informed that Governor Mai Mala Buni has directed the agency to carry out an assessment and respond to the plights of affected victims.

“On a very sad note, Jakusko town the headquarters of Jakusko LGA was yesterday affected by the flood as a result of a heavy downpour on 21st July 2021.
“Assessment is ongoing to ascertain the exact cause and number of households affected”, the Agency stated.
In another related development, a fire outbreak has razed a security formation in Jakusko town, affecting more than thirty personnel who were residing in the location.
