Establishment Of Yoruba Nation Will Be A Curse For Us If We Allow It To Succeed- Islamic Cleric.
Sheikh Dawood Imran Molaasan, the founder and president of the prominent Islamic organization Jamaatu taawunil muslimeen, has warned that if the Yoruba nation is created, it will be a great curse for the Yoruba people.
On the 13th of April, 2021, the organization’ s spokesperson, Lukman Solahudeen Ayyubi, made this announcement.
He labeled the Yoruba Nation’ s agitators as fools, incompetent, and opponents of Yoruba development.
In his remark, Sheikh claimed that the majority of those fighting for the Yoruba nation are unaware of the Yoruba culture.
He claims that the Yoruba people are not divinely unified and that they are culturally and politically diverse.
They would have had little to hold their unity together if it hadn’ t been for the Islamic faith, which rehabilitated some of their old habits.
Apart from lingo, their diversity is reflected in several land and boundary disputes that occur frequently among them. There is no way these people can survive without fighting. He said

He went on to say that those who wish to establish the Yoruba nation should learn from the turnover and realize that what they are attempting is a plague for the Yoruba people.

He said that while Nigeria might be in a bad mood right now, the sickness has a cure, which is reformation. We all need to be sanctified and reformed. The only way to achieve the Nigeria of our dreams is to fill political offices with people who are not selfish and who are passionate about the country’ s greatness and the well- being of its people.
” Because of their greedy disposition, Yoruba people cannot change what Nigeria has failed to change. Despite the fact that we are well aware of the motivation for this agitation ” he said
He ended by urging Muslims to pray for the Ummah and the awakening of Yoruba Muslims during Ramadan.
