Ex-Man United striker Tevez suffers injury…in prison

Former Manchester United striker CarlosTevez suffered a shocking injury as he reported to training last week with Boca Juniors, having picked up an injury in aprison yard kickabout.

The Argentine striker reportedly suffered a knock while visiting his half-brother Juan Alberto Martinez at Bouwer’s maximum-security prison in Cordoba.
According to Clarin Sports, the former Manchester United and City star took to the prison yard for a game of football with inmates before leaving the facility.
It was during this light-hearted game last Tuesday that Tevez suffered a blow to his soleus muscle, which is located in the calf region.
In 2010 Martínez was sentenced to 16 years in prison for assaulting an armoured vehicle.
His brother-in-law was also jailed for his role in the robbery, in which the duo dressed up as police officers. It is claimed they were carrying firearms but crucially left empty-handed after something went wrong.
