Fashion blogger Anzhelika Protodyakonova has always been a fan of big eyebrows.

But it wasn’t until someone took a photo of her statement brows and shared it on social media that she realised just how impressive they were.

The 21-year-old was embarrassed at first as the photo got a lot of attention, but she soon saw an opportunity.

She decided to embrace it and started making her eyebrows bigger and bigger.

According to local media, she now models her eyebrows on those of the characters in the hit computer game Angry Birds.

Now she’s built up a huge social media following thanks to her bold look, and she’s earns money by advertising on her social media accounts.

She has more than 90,000 followers on Instagram and thousands more likes on other social media sites.

Anzhelika, who lives in Yakutsk in Russia’s south-eastern Sakha Republic, has received mixed reviews of her eyebrows.

There have been lots of weird and wonderful eyebrow trends this year, with people across the world coming up with new ways to stand out.

It involves using an eyebrow pencil to extend the eyebrows on to the forehead and connecting them in a large circle.

However not everyone is a fan, and she’s had a lot of negative comments on the photo.

One wrote: “I have lost faith in humanity.”

Another pleaded: “Can you not start another stupid trend? This is absolutely ridiculous and horrifying lmao.”

Then there was the Heartbeat browbrow .

The unusual look is the work of Zakia Serroukh Wahbi from Kuwait.

She shared a tutorial video explaining how to create the look yourself on Instagram, and it’s now been viewed 90,000 times.

She starts by putting a thick layer of foundation over her eyebrow hair to cover them, before drawing on the new line with liner.
