“Kuje looks like NYSC camp and inside they have a VIP section” — Blord recounts detention in Kuje Correctional Center.
Popular cryptocurrency entrepreneur Blord has finally spoken about his time inside Kuje Correctional Center. And what he said has left many Nigerians with more questions than answers.
Blord, whose real name is Linus Williams Ifejirika, was recently arraigned following a legal battle with online critic Martins Vincent Otse, better known as VeryDarkMan or VDM. The case reportedly centered on the unauthorized use of VDM’s brand image. But while many expected a story of hardship behind bars, Blord described something else entirely.
According to information gathered by Toktok9ja Media, Blord was kept in a special section of the prison. He went on to say that Kuje looked more like an NYSC camp than a correctional center. But that was not all. Inside that NYSC camp setup, there was a VIP area.

Blord explained that in Kuje, they call it segregation. And that was where they kept him.

He described the space as a room with every appliance you could think of. He said he slept and woke up to find a chef ready to cook for him. Everything he needed as a human being was right there in that room.
Then he compared his experience to what happened to VDM. According to Blord, VeryDarkman has also been to Kuje before. But he was kept where they put people who carry bunk. And Blord claimed they beat the hell out of him.
Blord’s revelation has raised concerns among everyday Nigerians. Many are asking why certain prisoners should be treated differently based on who they are or what they own. If the law is supposed to be the same for everyone, why does one person get a chef while another gets beaten?
Even cross dresser Bobrisky, who has also spent time in Kuje, confirmed that he received VIP treatment during his own stay. That confirmation has only added fuel to the fire.
Nigerians have taken to social media to criticize the government following Blord’s remarks. Some argue that prison should not be comfortable for anyone. Others say that if rich and famous individuals keep getting special rooms and personal chefs, then the system is broken from the top down.
Who Is Blord?
For those who may not know, Linus Williams Ifejirika, popularly known as Blord, is a prominent Nigerian cryptocurrency entrepreneur, fintech founder, and real estate investor. He was born on March 14, 1998. Over the years, he built his reputation as a young billionaire through blockchain investments, digital assets trading, and his multi-layered enterprise known as the Blord Group.
He has dominated Nigerian social media spaces in recent weeks following his high-profile legal battle with VeryDarkMan. That battle eventually led to his arraignment and the Kuje stay he now describes so openly.
What Blord Said Word for Word
In his own words, Blord wrote:

The Bigger Question
Blord’s story raises a simple but uncomfortable question. If a prison has a VIP section with chefs and appliances, then what exactly is being corrected? And if treatment depends on your wallet or your name, then is justice really being served?
As more Nigerians react to this revelation, one thing is clear. The conversation about equality inside the country’s correctional centers is far from over.
