As promised, Nicki Minaj has agreed to pay either tuition or student loans for 37 people. She announced the list of winners on her website last Friday (June 29).
“Winners will receive a direct message on Twitter,” the post reads. “Please provide us with contact information at that time. All money will be paid directly to the school or lender after verification is final.”
Minaj did something similar last May, when she spontaneously paid tuition for several of her Twitter fans who had good grades. She then started the “Student Of The Game” fund, which had its first official round of winners last month.
Entrants are eligible for the scholarship more than once as long as it’s not consecutive years.
Minaj is also holding another contest for some of her fans to come listen to her upcoming album Queen in the studio with her. Winners of the “Student Of The Game” fund are ineligible.
Queen, Minaj’s follow-up to 2014’s The Pinkprint, is expected to drop on August 10, after being pushed back from its original June 15 date.
