It was an embarrassing moment for a Mexican singer as her sanitary pad fell off from between her legs during a live performance on national TV.
The embarrassing incident happened while Patricia Navidad was appearing on the morning TV show called ‘Despierta America’ (Wake Up America). As she sang the song ‘Viva Mexico’, the sanitary pad began to fall and was clearly visible on camera.
The singer frowned momentarily as she realized what was happening in front of thousands of stunned viewers. But rather than stop with the performance, she carried on singing and finished the song without faltering.
The ugly mishap is the first to have happened to any performing artist in the world as she has been subjected to ridicule and abuse online in Mexico and South America.
However, she hit back on Twitter saying she was not ashamed of what happened. She wrote: ‘I want to make it clear that I never threw or would throw the pad. Thank you, I love you. This is not something I should be ashamed of or mocked for. But while judging, bullying, and pointing at me men forget that they are here because of a woman.

Meanwhile, Veteran singer, Mike Okri has recently shared his plight and encountered the deadly virus, COVID-19 despite being fully vaccinated. The veteran singer who had spent most of his life abroad and a recent returnee to Nigeria took to his Facebook to share the information during a live video.

He said he caught the virus on Friday, August 20, a day before traveling. And that this is coming to him as a rude shock. I had my Covid test on Friday, hoping to fly today, Saturday and it turned out it was positive, he said.

I just want to tell folks that yes, for those doubting Thomas’s, that the damn thing is real.
I’m feeling funny; even though I had my vaccines, double shots, I’m still almost like, hmm, that doesn’t mean that you’re immune.
