The user wrote: “Being a Fulani in Nigeria is now becoming a crime. A Fulani mother and her children were just sl@ught3red in Kogi state just because they are Fulani. It took place on 21st May 2026, in Iko Village, Ankpa Local Government Area of Kogi State. What is Nigeria becoming? We cannot demand peace while tolerating such inhumane cruelty. Where is the education, the civility, and the enlightenment we so proudly boast of?”

That post has since been shared many times, with people from different parts of the country weighing in. Some called for calm and proper investigation. Others said the killing shows how bad things have gotten when a mother and her children become targets over ethnic identity.
