Jay-Z Hand Over Beyoncé Now – Ugandan General’s Unusual Demands.
People have argued over Beyoncé’s music for years. But one man has decided to argue over Beyoncé herself.
His name is Muhoozi Kainerugaba. He is a General who commands Uganda’s entire military. He is also the son of the country’s President . Recently, he used social media to make a statement nobody expected from someone in his position.
He gave Jay-Z one week to hand over Beyoncé. If Jay-Z refused, the General said he was ready to take the issue to the United Nations. He also challenged the American rapper to a duel at dawn. And if those options did not work, he joked about showing up somewhere holding a sign that read “I’m Here, Beyoncé”.
Then the conversation took a different turn. The General called Jay-Z poor. But he did not mean poor by American standards. He meant poor by Ugandan standards.

His reasoning? Jay-Z does not own Ankole cattle, a special breed with long horns that is one of the greatest symbols of wealth in Uganda . The General claims to own thousands of them. By that measure, he argues, the global music mogul cannot compete.
This is not the General’s first time making headlines for unusual remarks. In 2022, he caused a diplomatic problem after claiming Uganda’s military could capture Kenya’s capital, Nairobi, within two weeks. The Ugandan government had to distance itself from those comments and apologize to Kenya.
Later that same year, he made a similar proposal involving Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni. He offered to pay a bride price using his Ankole cattle. Her office quickly dismissed the suggestion .
In early 2025, the General made another controversial statement by declaring that trousers were for men. He then ordered female soldiers in the Uganda People’s Defence Force to wear skirts during parades.

The General’s interest in Beyoncé is not new. He previously wrote posts in 2024 and 2025 expressing his desire to take the singer from Jay-Z . However, this recent outburst seems to be his most forceful yet.
Beyoncé and Jay-Z, who have been married since 2008 and have three children, have not responded publicly to the General’s remarks . They have remained silent on the matter. It appears they have chosen to ignore a situation that, for most people, feels like something from another world.

Nobody got hurt. No international crisis followed the posts. But somewhere in the world, Jay-Z woke up to find out that a General with a large army had publicly challenged him for his wife.
And honestly, nobody quite knows how to respond to that.
