Lagos Woman Accuses Ex-Friend of Kidnap Plot, Robbery and Attempted Murder After ‘Reconciliation’ Meeting.
A woman named Amaka Joan has come forward with a troubling story. She is accusing her former friend, a woman identified as Sharon, of setting her up for a violent attack. The incident, according to Amaka, happened after Sharon reached out to mend their broken friendship.
The story has since spread across social media, leaving many people angry and calling for justice.
Amaka said she and Sharon first met while both were students at a polytechnic. They became close friends, but things fell apart in 2018. A serious disagreement between them caused the friendship to end. After that, they both graduated and went their separate ways. For years, they did not speak to each other.
Last year, Sharon reportedly reached out to Amaka. She said she wanted them to settle their differences and become friends again. Amaka accepted the apology. She believed they had both grown up and left the past behind. So the friendship started again.
Not long after, Sharon told Amaka about a man living outside Nigeria. According to Sharon, this man saw her in a display picture video and became interested in her. Sharon claimed the man was planning to visit Nigeria and wanted to meet Amaka.
Later, Sharon told Amaka that the man had arrived in the country. She invited Amaka to go out with her on March 21. Amaka agreed and got ready for the outing.

Amaka said Sharon asked her to meet at Magodo in Lagos. From there, they planned to go to a club together. When Amaka arrived, the two hugged and entered a Toyota Venza.
But things took a different turn during the journey. Sharon stopped at a junction and picked up two men.
Amaka claimed that one of the men then asked Sharon in Yoruba if she was the person they were looking for. Sharon reportedly said yes.
Confused and scared, Amaka reminded Sharon that they had already settled their past problems. But Sharon allegedly replied that even though they had reconciled, she had not forgotten what happened between them.
Amaka further alleged that the two men threatened to kill her if she tried to resist. They told her Sharon had already paid them to carry out the job.

She said she was beaten inside the moving car. Then she was forced to unlock her iCloud account and disconnect it. The attackers also went through her phone and deleted her private conversations. They made videos of her and threatened to post them online.
According to Amaka, her iPhone 16, her gold chain, and N100,000 cash were all taken during the incident.
After that, she said she was pushed out of the moving vehicle.
Amaka lost consciousness after hitting the ground. She said a female trader and a security guard nearby found her, gave her water, and helped her get transportation back home.
The story has since generated strong reactions online. Many Nigerians are calling on the police to step in and carry out a full investigation. Others have sent messages of support to Amaka.
As of the time this report was filed, no official statement has been released by the authorities regarding the allegations.
